Ways to Boost High Creativity on a Low Day

Did you just wake up sluggish and find yourself feeling a little low?

We’ve all been there. The day creativity levels can’t seem to meet productivity expectations. Fortunately, there are accessible strategies to improve it.

1. Set Small Activity Goals

Write down a few tasks you can conveniently complete on the day. Shifting to achievable smaller projects will encourage a sense of promising possibility. With little missions accomplished, you’re likely to feel more motivated and have better creative energy moving forward.

2. Unplug Yourself for a While

Sometimes you need to step away to recharge, and this recharge doesn’t have to mean doing nothing. It can look like visiting an art gallery, watching inspiring content from a cosy cafe corner, or anything else that uplifts energy and enables brand new ideas to rise.

3. Turn to Favourite Creative Hobbies

We designers tend to hold rigid standards when it comes to daily professional outputs. Losing formality in no-pressure artistic hobbies is a way to reconnect with the initial fulfilment creativity brings you to the current place, and get a pep in your step again.

4. Embrace New Experiences

Try a less familiar cuisine, explore a different workout scene, check out hidden architectural gems, attend an interactive workshop with strangers, or relax in a new setting on the other side of the city. All these activities are bound to spark inspiration and open the creative floodgates.
